Introduction: This course is for the person who is unfamiliar with weapons procedures, or needs to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations.

Aim: The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with their handgun.

• Multiple shoots
• Multiple targets
• Shooting positions
• Sight management
• Shooting on the move
• Shooting moving targets
• Shooting behind cover

Ammunition Requirements: 1,200 rounds of ammunition

Gear: Pistol, holster, three magazines, magazine holders, belt, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, rain gear, weapons cleaning kit, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions and a water bottle or other hydration system.

Method: Classroom and practical application on the ranges.
